- test your own sample with the new micro-Raman spectrometer and the new XGT imaging XRF of HORIBA Jobin Yvon
HORIBA Jobin-Yvon will run both a micro-Raman spectrometer and an imaging XRF at the IMA2010 Exhibition.
IMA2010 participants are encouraged to bring one of their own, properly prepared sample for test measurements during the exhibition period.
You can book that service in advance, on a first come, first served base, up to the time frame available, by sending an e-mail to Jeremy Brites, containing 1) the short description of the sample; 2) a clearly formulated question you hope to be answered by applying the method. Inadequate or badly characterized problems / samples will not be considered. A limited extent on-site booking will also be available.
- Live demo of XRF analyzers, Thermo Scientific on 22 and 23 August:
Our family of XRF analyzers, now including the all-new Niton XL2 GOLDD and enhanced Niton XL3t GOLDD+, can provide fast, accurate, on-site analysis of environmental contaminants, soils and sediments, elemental anomalies near the earth's surface, and the elemental composition of sample data at all stages of the exploration, mining, and refining processes.
