Technical instructions for presenters
20 minutes (15 minutes talk + 5 minutes discussion)
Microsoft PowerPoint (a version compatible with Office 2003 and Windows XP)
uploading talks from a USB stick or CD is suggested to be completed on the day prior to the talk in the speakers' room.
Late speakers can upload their files directly in the lecture room latest 20 minutes before the start of the session. (A technical helper will be present in the room.)

Recommended IMA2010 poster sizes:
- ISO A0 (841 mm x 1189 mm, 33.1 in x 46.8 in), portrait oriented
- ANSI E (34 in x 44 in, 864 mm x 1118 mm), portrait oriented.
In any case, posters must be no larger than 950 mm wide x 1250 mm high although they can hang down below the poster boards by up to 300 mm.
Pins and tacks will be provided to attach the posters to the poster boards. Please be prepared to use these as the surface of the poster boards is not suitable for using adhesive tapes.
Explanation to the poster codes:
- N / S - Northern / Southern building
- 1 / 2 - 1st or 2nd period
All poster sessions are 3-DAY LONG.
- 1st poster period: Sunday (Aug. 22), mounting - Tuesday afternoon (Aug. 24), removal.
- 2nd poster period: Wednesday morning (Aug. 25), mounting - Friday afternoon (Aug. 27), removal.
The authors are required to keep the posters on display for the WHOLE DURATION of the assigned session. Poster consultation day(s), when you are expected to be present at your poster, are fit to the position of the relevant oral session in the programme.
